NFTY Door is a 100% digital mortgage lender that provides fast access to home equity through 2nd lien home equity loans. They offer a 1 minute application and can close as fast as lending guidelines allow.
Our challenge was to transform a slow and manual process into an agile, efficient, and 100% digital system.
THE TEAM, TECHNOLOGIES, AND PROCESS
The project started in April 2022 with a team of 5 and by September 2023 is at 17 Crombie people, including Product Owner, Business Analyst, FullStack Developers, and QA Testers.
The client came to Crombie with a preconceived idea and we identified what was needed to make it real. Our developers are working to implement integrations and create new functionality using agile methodologies.
AWS, React, Node, Lambda Functions, API Gateways, Cognito, DynamoDB, and Cloud Formation, were some technologies used by Crombie developers to build a serverless infrastructure and set in motion this project.
Currently, the platform consumes 16 APIs and 17 different AWS services.
NFTYDoor is a proprietary digital end-to-end platform that leverages APIs to automate underwriting, closing, funding, and servicing. These innovations are regulatory compliant and reduce origination time and costs.
Homeowners can access $25,000 to $500,000 of their home’s equity with a 25-year fixed-rate term, after completing a simple online application.
