THE CHALLENGE
Create a custom scalable web application for different companies where every connected user can play simultaneously.
From concept to commercialization, the product’s development counted on key roles such as:
Stakeholders, UX/UI Designers, Product Owner and Project Leader, DevOps, Developers, QA Testers, onboarding and maintenance team, sales, marketing, and administration team.
The end result was the development of a commercial website, a web app, and a content management platform.
Commercial website, built with React, where customers can order the product.
Web App, built with React, for the front end, Laravel, for the back end, and an interconnectivity with GraphQL between the environments. Within the platform, whose instances per customer are differentiated by domain, it was made available not only the game platform but also an admin section based in AdminLTE for daily management. All this was mounted on a 100% cloud infrastructure provided by AWS, including an autoscaling EC2 instance, load balancers, and a relational database, secured by a limited user permission scheme.
The product was developed using the SCRUM methodology, focusing on periodic and incremental advances.
Besides its tech approach, Proode has been a source of internal learning and commercial opportunities for Crombie, winning the trust of various companies and generating 45 licensed instances with more than 30,000 total registered users (and with concurrency peaks of more than 1,500 users).
Even though success can be measured in many ways, the app development and its deployment on an infrastructure managed by the Crombie team has been the most significant aspect for us.
Proode is a product that has left a promising mark for the future.
